News about Fulshear Growth

It seems like Fulshear is growing at break neck speeds with suburban and commercial development. Last month, in the Houston Business Journal, Fulshear is part of what they are calling the “Suburban Sprawl.” From the HBJ, it appears that “Fulshear saw its population swell 756 percent” between July 1, 2010, and July 1, 2017, according to the Greater Houston Partnership via U.S. Census data.” 756% – That number just seems unbelievable! The city went from 1,172 residents in 2010 to 10,044 in 2017. We had to double check the numbers, just to make sure it wasn’t just a typo, but an actual percentage of population growth! As population grows, development of the land for residential and commercial real estate will inevitably follow.
