Museum of Natural Science Sugarland Location

>Native Houstonians are all too familiar with the Museum District downtown.  Yet, did you know that back in 2009 the Houston Museum of Natural Science has extended a campus to the Sugarland area?  That’s right, at a more convenient location just off of Highway 59 and University Blvd, and one exit north of Grand Parkway, residents and schools in the nearby area can enjoy the fun and the educational experience of the museum.

Some of the permanent exhibits available at the HMNS Sugarland campus include life science, earth science, space science, hall of paleontology and so on. They also feature special exhibitions and attractions for guests, such as the Butterfly Exhibit, Salt Water Aquarium, Dig Pit, and Digital Dome Theatre. Check the website to see which special attractions are currently running!

The museum has weekly programs for children including the P.A.W.S Reading Program with therapy dogs, a wide variety of hands-on student science labs, birthday parties, summer camps, and much more.

Check out this awesome photo slideshow as a sneak peek into the museum!
