Join Us for Fulshear Freedom Fest!

Hosted by the City of Fulshear and the Fulshear Chamber of Commerce, the Fulshear Freedom Fest has been scheduled for Friday, July 4, 2014! The city wide event will take place downtown and have music, a parade, food, shopping, children’s activities and more.

The evening’s events will begin with a live performance from The Triumphs at 6:00 p.m. With their rock ‘n roll roots, this band is sure to get the Fourth fun started. Following this, a parade will start at 7:00 p.m. on Fifth Street, and it will move south along FM 359 to First Street. Parade entries will be accepted up until July 3rd, and all local businesses, organizations and residents are encouraged to participate. After the parade, the fun continues with the fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

Throughout the day at the Fulshear Freedom Fest, there will be plenty of family friendly activities including face painting, balloon artists, bounce houses, a rock wall, and more. All admission fees into the kids area will go to benefit Our Military Kids, which is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support and awareness to military children. A $5 dollar donation is asked for admission into the kids area, and the cap for admission will be $20.

Please be aware that various road closures will begin on the Fourth around noon to prepare for the festivities. We look forward to seeing you at the Fulshear Freedom Fest!
