Houston’s 2015 Real Estate Market is Healthy

In a recent study conducted by WalletHub, the Houston real estate market is recognized as one of the most competitive markets in the nation. Not only that, but Houston also ranks in the top 25 healthiest real estate markets in the country.

How did our city secure the No. 10 spot on the list? Well, the study analyzed numerous aspects of the market, including interest rates and local assistance programs. Houston proved to have very promising outcomes on the ten factors evaluated by WalletHub. In fact, Houston ranks No. 3 nationally when it comes to households with access to a home equity line of credit and we rank 5th on the list when compared with the average amount of years it takes to pay off a mortgage.

Texas overall placed very well in the study. Our counterparts also have very healthy housing markets as well. Austin grabbed the No. 6 spot, and San Antonio placed in the No. 3 spot.
