Out here in Fulshear, we have all heard the rumors of different shopping centers coming to our area, including HEB. Well, in last week’s news, HEB made a step that confirms the reality of the grocery store coming to Fulshear.
HEB purchased a 28-acre tract of land near the corner of Fort Bend Drive and FM 1463. There is no official timeline released yet on the construction plans, but this purchase solidifies that Fulshear is changing rapidly economically. This once small town has seen much growth in recent years, a trend that is only predicted to continue as more residents and retailers flock to this area. In fact, developers of Cross Creek Ranch have anticipated this growth and have set aside significant amounts of acreage to accommodate commercial use.
