Compressed Natural Gas Station Premieres in Katy

Last month, our neighbors in Katy, TX were introduced to an alternative fueling option

when CNG 4 America premiered along I-10. This “Compressed Natural Gas” station is ideally located along the interstate where numerous truck fleets travel their weekly routes.

Trucking Companies across the state have starting converting their fleets to CNG trucks because these fuel prices are more stable than gasoline. Katy’s CNG station is $2 per gallon. According to the Railroad Commission of Texas, there are more than 7,200 CNG vehicles in Texas, which is predicted to continue as long as we have enough natural gas available to meet the demand.

CNG 4 America plans to build more stations on trucking routes, and the first route they want to tackle would cover the destination from Houston to New Orleans.
