Our community has benefited greatly from our very own farmer’s market. When the market was started in 2014 by Ramona Ridge, it was a simple idea- share the overabundance of fresh, locally grown food within the Fulshear community.
Now, as a recent My Fox Houston article noted, the Fulshear Farmer’s Market has made quite a hit in the area. The “well-educated, well-traveled residents” come out every week to enjoy the natural produce and numerous one of a kind items, like natural bug spray. What makes it special is that it is neighbors sharing with neighbors, creating a fun, safe and creative way to meet your neighbors. And, it is a great opportunity to promote healthy eating while supporting the efforts of local grower and farmers.
In just a short year of existence, the market has become quite “the foodie destination in Fulshear”. With Cousins Maine Lobster providing fresh seafood, it certainly offers something unique. You can find nut breads, homemade jams, local coffee, fresh produce and much much more!
Find the Market every Saturday from 9am-1pm at the intersection of FM 1093 & Bois D’ Arc in Fulshear.
